Palladium Fantasy Worldmap by Dawn2069MS Palladium Fantasy Worldmap by Dawn2069MS
This is the Palladium Fantasy (a pencil and paper rolepaying-game) Worldmap, including highly modified content. It was custimized to fit to one of my adventure campaigns, so please do not be confused, lol.

Note: This image is LARGE, it has a width if 3200 pixels.

UPDATE !!!

You can find my original Photoshop file including tonns of layers if you follow the link provided below. The summary information of the downloadable Zip-file is as follows:
- Palladium_Map.tif - 42,661 MB
- Palladium_Map.psd - 114,372 MB
- Color format is CMYK
- Image size is 4200x2600 pixels
The Photoshop file has multiple layers and layer-sets, so I recommend to use Photoshop CS or higher. The layers include names, tags, streets, textures, etc.

The downloadable Zip-file has an average file size of ~100 MB and is available here: [link]

I DL'd the .psd, and I have to say that though I've altered it a great deal to make it fit with canon, this image is a superlative bit of map-making.

Bravo Zulu, mate.

Nicely done! This is an artful and creative interpretation of Palladium Fantasy. My efforts with Palladium and Rifts have all been with the mindset of sticking to canon as much as possible. It's neat to contemplate adjusting for one's own imaginings.

Thanks for your kind words. :) The map here reflects the epic final of an 11-month Palladium Fantasy campaign which partially shaped the world, so most of the changes I did were made bit by bit.

The combination of the Atlantis continent is particularly interesting to me (I recently did an Atlantis map myself), but the little (and big) changes here and there invite the imagination to wander.

Heya, happy new year and thx 4 your nice comment. :) Well, I play pencil and paper RPGs for 28 years now and it is still my primary hobby. I donÄt think that the PnP-RPG flame will every fade to be honest.

I'm curious as to the story and the details of how Atlantis got there! This looks epic, but I want more Details would you share them?

Hi there, sorry for the huge delay of my answer. As I wrote in the image description, I expanded and modified the Palladium Fantasy World to fit to my campaign. The Atlantis-shaped island has nothing to do with the Atlantis from the Rifts universe, I just took the shape of it. Since I did run this campaign 5 years ago, I don't remember all of the details and - to be honest - it would not make sense to write them down here. The campaign itself did run for 11 months of actual playtime and the content I've created for it fills a whole binder.

Good question. Using the Atlantis island shape to creat "The forsaken Island" without having any direct comparison to the Palladium continent, I just made a rough guess. The size of the island did fit to all of my campaign-related world-customizations though.

Uh, the continent on the right hand part of the map is the one shown in the Palladium Fantasy RPG book. If your question refers to the north-western island-ish part of the continent, that is one of my custom modifications for my large-scale campaign.
The shape of the island on the left hand part of the map is derived from the Rifts Atlantis continent.

Wow! This looks awesome. Greetings and Salutations. I'm a big Palladium Fantasy fan and love the map (even with the changes for your campaign). Only shame is that it's not bigger. Would you mind if I shared this link on a few other places? I think some other PF fans might really enjoy this, but I wouldn't want to do so without your permission. Once again, very nice map and I'm impressed. Have a great day. Farewell and safe journeys for now.

Hi there, thanks for your nice words. :) Permission granted to share the link. I just checked the link I provided for the print resolution map download (have you checked that one concerning a bigger version of my map? Link is provided in the image description.) and I recognized that it doesn't work anymore. I fixed the problem and the download of the large map should be fuctional again, so give it a try.

Heya, thx 4 your nice comment. Hehe, yeah the changes on the map are the result of a large-scale epic campaign (we played that one for 11 months if I remember correctly) which had some impact on the world (and the characters of course). ;)

More zoomed in like showing city details? Or more like larger a resolution of the map? The second one is available, check the links in the map description. :)

Thanks. :) Uhm... ok. Do you have a reference where I can check out the location of the Shattered Mountains? Honestly, I cannot remember which reference book I used back then when I created this map 5 years ago. ;)

If you wanna give it a try in Photoshop, feel free to do so, the PSD-File is downloadable (see description). Otherwise I can add those mountains some time, n.p. Please be aware of the fact that my map has been altered to fit my RPG campaign, so lots of the city names and topographical features do differ from the original world map design by Palladium.

I love your photoshop skills and the map, but the names for the areas and cities etc aren't very imaginitive, I think.

I'm currently trying to make a map for a continent in a fantasy world I'm making entirely from scratch, but my photoshop skills suck.

Well, area names as well as some of the city names are already given in the Palladium Fantasy RPG. The remaining city names... well ok, there could be better ones, most of them are taken from anime series, movies, etc.

Anyway, thx for dropping a lines and good luck on your map project.
